Our Approach
Why it’s used
Opioid addiction is driven by withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Suboxone® helps patients manage withdrawal during detox and then acts as maintenance therapy to prevent cravings for months or even years.
By reducing relapse risk, Suboxone® saves lives—especially since overdoses are 10x more likely after detox if opioids are used again.
How it works
Buprenorphine binds to opioid receptors, easing cravings and withdrawal without creating the same “high” as drugs like heroin, fentanyl, or oxycodone.
Naloxone blocks opioids and is included to prevent misuse by injection or snorting.
Other Uses
Suboxone® may also help patients struggling with dependency on atypical opioids like Kratom (Mitragynine) and 7-OH (7-hydroxymitragynine)
Why Suboxone®?
Suboxone® (buprenorphine/naloxone) is one of the most effective tools in treating opioid use disorder.
